Institute of
Management Development and Research is established at DES Campus, Pune. The
institute was set up in 1974 as a constituent unit of the Deccan Education
Society. It is approved by All India Council of Technological Education (AICTE)
and affiliated to University of Pune. The major facilities are well equipped library,
tutorial room, computer centre, hostel for boys and girls, language lab, common
room etc. The college has a full fledged placement cell to the needs of the
students in training, projects and placement activities. It is providing
industrial visits and summer training program for students. Some past
recruiters of IMDR are Azim Premji Foundation, L&T Infotech, Hindustan
Pencils Pvt Ltd, Eureka Forbes etc. The students of the institute organize
various activities sports activities , alumini meet, seminar and guest lecturers
etc.
Eligibility-
Graduates from any discipline with or without work
experience are eligible to apply for admission to this program, provided they
have obtained not less than 50% marks at graduation. Final year graduate
students are eligible, provided they have scored not less than 50% marks at the
immediately preceding examination (45% in case of candidates of backward class
categories and physically handicapped belonging to Maharashtra State only)
Admission Procedure-

The Institute will accept the valid scores of the following
entrance exams:
CAT (conducted by IIMs) (Approved by IIM for accepting CAT
score) MH-CETMAT (conducted by AIMA)
