Established under The Societies Act 1950, Rizvi Education Society has always aimed at promoting a holistic education experience at all levels. It registered itself under the provisions of the Bombay Public Act, 1950 and finally began its academic journey with the College of Arts, Science and Commerce. Over the years Rizvi has spread its wings far and wide and has branched in to the Rizvi College of Engineering, Rizvi Institute of Management & Studies, Rizvi Academy of Management, Rizvi Law College, Rizvi College of Education and Rizvi Institute of Fashion Designing & Creative Arts.

The fundamental postulate of Rizvi Education Society is to foster young vanguards for tomorrow's world. Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research is on such manifestation of the process. Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research was established in 1996 with the intent of bridging the gap between corporates and academics. 

In spite of a short educational journey of less than ten years, Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research has already managed to create a niche for itself in the realm  of business management. With young aspirants  battling their way up with cannons of confidence, it's not surprising that this Institute has been ranked as one of the most promising new age B-school the Outlook Magazine.
