Symbiosis Institute
of Management Studies (SIMS) was established by the nationally renowned
Symbiosis Society in 1993. Under an MoU the with Ministry of Defence, Government
of India, admission to its full time MBA programmes is primarily for dependents
of Armed Force personnel and those sponsored by the industry. SIMS is a
constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis International University. The
institute is ISO 9001:2008 quality certified and a top-tier provider of
business education across the spectrum.

Campus of Symbiosis Institute of
Management Studies -
SIMS has an integrated campus with all learning facilities
requisite of a contemporary business school. It is housed in a fully
residential Wi-Fi campus with separate hostel facilities for both men and women
with in-house messing facilities. The excellent sports and fitness amenities
including the gym, yoga, aerobics, the swimming pool and other light games
invite students to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Computer Lab
Two state-of-the-art computer labs designed to meet the
computing and communication needs. A wide variety of software platforms and
management programmes such as ERP, ECCH, SPSS, EBSCO, Prowess, Emerald, Delnet,
EMTAB are available. The whole campus is Wi-Fi zone.
Information Technology
Synapse – The online portal of the institute aims to move
SIMS towards a paper-free environment.
Library
20,410 books on management, 114 journals and magazines
including foreign journals, large number of educational CDs and recordings of
talks by guest speakers. It is a member of DELNET, MCCI, AIMS, British Library,
ASTD, NHRD, TJ -Training Journal, ABCI, IABC and other database.
Health Care Centre
In-house medical facilities and a host of other activities
like yoga, gym and a swimming pool.
Sports (For Resident students only)
Badminton court, basketball court, swimming pool, table
tennis, croquet and fuseball. Students can play football, volleyball and cricket
at the grounds nearby.
Importance of Philanthropy:
"Pranay" is a first of its kind, social initiative
to be launched by a B-school which is totally student driven. Through our
efforts at PRANAY, we help the less fortunate in realizing their true potential
while truly comprehending the significance of Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR).
