EMPI Delhi PGDM Admissions 2015

Eligibility-

All applicants should first pre-qualify through EMPI prescribed tests. As such all applicants taking the CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA examination, achieving high percentile score are considered for selection for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs.

This attainment is considered as pre-qualification for stage - II selection procedure of EMPI. All candidates clearing the pre-qualifying test are also required to go through EMPI's comprehensive Personality Assessment and Profiling Exercise conducted at our Personality Assessment Centre - resulting in building up of a datasheet on each candidate's strengths / weaknesses.

This is subsequently availed to support the student in developing his/her personality through Personality Assessment Centre, Enhancement and Up gradation Processes (PACE-UP) Program.

Admission Process:
CAT:
Admission to the program is through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by The Indian Institute of Management at different Centers all over the country.    CAT 2014 would be held during a 2-day testing window (4 sessions) on Sunday.

IMI will obtain the test scores from the IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMI for the PGDM program.
IIM’s have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

GMAT:
Foreign  students, PIO and  NRI  sponsored  candidates  are  also  eligible  and  are  required  to  take the  Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India and submit such scores while applying to IMI.

Candidates will be required to furnish their GM AT scores while applying and provide an attested copy of the GM AT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification at the time of personal interview.   GMAT scores without the above document will not be accepted and the application may be summarily rejected.

The course content of GNIM has been developed in association with industry experts from various domain areas. There is a strong focus on entrepreneurial development and service mindedness. Eligibility:
Candidate must have Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized University.

Selection Criteria:
The applicants to this program have to pass through a three-tier system of screening comprising of Written Test CAT or MAT, Group Discussion and Interview. Admissions are made on the basis of merit, based on their track record. The institute welcomes students from all over India and from various graduation streams like engineering, commerce, arts, science etc. This makes the PGDM batch a good blend of different streams to work together as a cohesive group.

This is a two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Student will specialize in Retail Management. The course is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

P.G.D.M. Business Management - Stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Management. A PGDM is a two year postgraduate degree, eligibility for which is an undergraduate degree in business management or business administration. Subjects usually studied under this degree are Principles of Management, Quantitative Methods, Managerial Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing Management, IT for Management, Corporate Communication, Organizational Behavior, Operations Management, Human Resource Management etc.
