St. Joseph's
College of Business Administration is located in Bangalore. St. Joseph’s
College of Business Administration has been conducting one year evening
management courses since 1968. The major facilities are library with 16,100
books, 90 national & international periodicals, archival issues of
periodicals, computer centre, canteen, state-of-the-art classrooms etc. The
faculty and students of the institute undertake various research publications
like micro financial institutions and financial inclusion, assessment of
quality factors in indian management education, study on apparels as a sector
in organized retail, brand loyalty measurement: a framework etc.

The Institute offers a full time
Post Graduate program on Business Management - (PGDM). The program is designed
to prepare the students for a wide variety of managerial positions.
The PGDM program is spread over two
academic years, divided into six trimesters. The first 4 trimesters consist of
the core subjects pertaining to Management in general as well as some core
specialization subjects. The 5th and 6th trimesters focus on in depth knowledge
of the respective fields of specialization. Presentations, case studies. Group
discussions, individual research papers, submissions, library research project
work and quizzes from an integral part of the curriculum.
The College encourages all students
to take up a dual specialization keeping in mind the complexity of the functions
in the corporate setup. With computers coming to play an integral part in our
lives, the college has decided to integrate it into the course, which up to
last year was offered as a specialization.
