The Management Education under Manipal University, started with the establishment of Manipal Institute of Management in 1999, is undergoing a major change from the academic year 2011-12. The MBA programmes from Manipal University, henceforth will be offered from the campus of TAPMITM School of Business (TSB). TSB is setup with the support of T.A.Pai Management Institute, one of top 20 Business Schools in the country. TSB will be offering 2 year, full-time, fully residential MBA programmes from 2011-12.
TSB is incubated by T.A.Pai Management Institute as its own replica with robust academic environment and processes which made TAPMI as one among the top 1% of business schools in the country. As a clone of TAPMI, TSB will imbibe all the academic character of the Institute in its functioning.
DURATION: 2 years
ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
ADMISSIONS:
Selection to the MBA programme of TSB will be only through GMAT and CAT. In addition to the CAT 2010 or GMAT 2009/10/11 scores, the academic performance of the candidates in X, XII and graduation; and prior work experience will also be considered for selection. Shortlisted candidates will be finally selected through a Group Discussion and Personal Interview processes held during March/April 2011 at Manipal, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkatta, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
