Visveswarapura
College of law Bangalore was instituted in the year 1972 commencing with
Three Year LL.B., Degree Course, morning and evening batches. Subsequently, in
the year 1986, Five year BAL. LL.B., integrated course was also introduced.
The law college has both 3 & 5 Year LL.B., courses. It
is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi and affiliated to the
Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli.
The College mission is 'to foster critical analysis by
training students both in theory and practice so as to equip them with skills
needed for facing global challenges with team work and human values. And to
build quality network with the Industry, educationists and the society for
exchanging knowledge'.

Eligibility at Visveswarapura College of law Bangalore
A candidate seeking admission to 5 year LL.B., course should
have passed an examination of 10+2 or 11+1 pattern of schooling and should have
secured 45% (SC/ST 40%) marks. A candidate who has obtained marks in aggregate
of 40% (SC/ST 35%) marks is also eligible through Entrance Examination of the
college.

Admission Procedure at Visveswarapura College of law
Bangalore
All candidates, irrespective of the course they are applying
for, must appear for the admission test conducted by the college. The marks
obtained in the admission test are evaluated with the marks secured in the
previous qualifying examination. The final list is declared on the basis of
merits. The admission procedure is subjected to the reservation laws practiced
in the State of Karnataka.
The candidates can collect the admission forms from the
college office in lieu of a certain amount of money. These forms have to be
filled up and send it back to the college campus within the deadline. They also
need to be enclosed with all the required documents. After the admission test,
the names of the shortlisted candidates are declared in the college campus.
