Lexicon Institute of
Management Education, Pune was started in the year 2009 under the support
of lexicon Education group and Sukhdev and kamal Sharma Educational Trust.
The institute is associated to Pune University and is
approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute provides two year full time PGDM
and MBA affiliated to Pune University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Both the programs are designed to fulfill the industrial
needs of qualified managers and leaders by the means of providing its aspirants
practical knowledge and skills and dexterity to manage the complexities of the
business enterprises in fast moving world.
The institute provides various facilities like library,
Wi-Fi and internet facilities, computer labs, seminar hall, auditorium and
cafeteria. Hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls separately
supervised by wardens. Hostels have attached mess\Dining area, common room with
T.V and 24 hours Wi-Fi facility to its students.

Master of Business Administration (MBA):
M.B.A. - Stands for Master of Business Administration.
Typically, an MBA is a two year postgraduate degree, eligibility for which is

Subjects usually studied under this degree are Basics of Management,
Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Financial & Cost Accounting,
Managerial Economics, Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Financial
Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing Research, Industrial
Relations, Consumer Behaviour, International Business , Software Solutions for
Business, Relationship Marketing, Corporate Finance etc.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM):
P.G.D.M. Business Management - Stands for Post Graduate
Diploma in Management. A PGDM is a two year postgraduate degree, eligibility
for which is an undergraduate degree in business management or business
administration. Subjects usually studied under this degree are Principles of
Management, Quantitative Methods, Managerial Economics, Financial Accounting,
Marketing Management, IT for Management, Corporate Communication, Organizational
Behaviour, Operations Management, Human Resource Management etc.
