Apex Institute of
Management & Research, Pune was founded in the year 2001 as a part of
the APEX Group of Institutes.
The institute started with PGDBM courses
belongs to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in 2004 and
presently have two management institutes i.e.
- APEX Institute of Management & Research for MBA, approved by Pune University; and
- APEX School of Management & Entrepreneurship Development for PGDM, approved by AICTE.
The institute goal is to create a knowledge based center of
excellence in education, training, research and consultancy in various fields.
Management education is more than just academics.
Inculcating the winning attitude and empowering students with all the skills
necessary to take on the dynamics of a challenging corporate world. Our aim is
that we excel in it.
The college has introduced two courses, MBA & PGDM.
These are regular courses of two years that meet the needs of modern business.
The MBA course is affiliated to University of Pune and approved by AICTE and
the PGDM course is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New
Delhi.
The college has also initiated a graduate College of Arts,
Commerce & Science and post graduate course of MCA with the affiliation
& approval of University of Pune.

Apex enjoys very good Corporate Relations with several
organizations some of which are MNC’s and highly progressive corporate houses.
The objective is for good placements, industry internships and exposure to
corporate governance for Apex students. In addition to the overall grooming of
the students for good managerial skills, the students are encouraged towards
self development which is essential for getting selected for career start up.
