Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management (JKSHIM),
Mangalore was started in the year 1998 by the Nitte Education Trust.
The institute offers MBA program which is recognized by the
All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of
Karnataka and is associated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University,
Belgaum.
The Institute is also recognized as a centre for guiding
research. It is one among the very few AICTE-NBA certified institutes and is
currently in standing state of ACBSP certification.
The major facilities are library with a huge collection of
books, magazines and journals, computer centre with high speed internet
facility, separate hostels for boys and girls etc.
Placements at Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management -
An active placement committee, with a full time placement
officer with student representatives, looks after the placement activities at
the Institute. The committee explores different areas of opportunities for
placements. It takes special care to ensure that students are aware of the
latest placement situations and opportunities and motivates them to work towards
their respective goals.
