Galgotias Business
School (GBS), Greater Noida was
established in 2007 under Galgotias Educational Institutions by Smt. Shakuntla
Educational & Welfare Society. GBS is committed to provide world class
technical and management education.
Galgotias Business School is located at Greater Noida. The
major facilities at campus are library, state-of-the-art computational
facilities with Pentium-IV personal computers, separate Hostels for boys &
girls, tie-up with nearby hospital for OPD and emergencies, student activity
centre for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities etc. The major
recruiters at Galgotia Business School are Jindal Steel & Power, Terex
Vectra, HDFC Bank, Malayala Manorama etc.
Eligibility:
- Minimum of 3 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for post graduate studies in management with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and appeared in CAT/MAT. Galgotias Business School conducts its own Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible, provided that they complete all formalities of their examinations. such candidates, on selection, will be given provisional admission subject to successful passing or completion of the bachelor’s degree examination by securing at least 50% aggregate marks. - Non-fulfillment of the above condition will result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
Admissions Procedure:
Galgotias Business School uses valid scores of
CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET & CMAT of AICTE Scores for short listing candidates
for Group Discussion and personal Interview conducted by the HR Personal and
Company Executives including MNCs.
The procedure
consists of three steps as below:
- A Candidate seeking admission to GBS Greater Noida is required to appear in the CAT or MAT.
- A candidate is required to register at GBS through a separate application form which will be available along with information brochure from admission coordinator.
- Candidate short-listed on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET & CMAT of AICTE score will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore and interview for final selection. The weight age for final selection will be 60% for CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET & CMAT of AICTE score and 40% for Group Discussion, Extempore and interview. Selected candidate will be intimated by registered post/courier/ordinary post. No regret letter will be sent to those who are not selected. The school does not take any responsibility for postal delays and/or loss in transit.
